Gee -  that prize went off quickly.  As Bruce can tell you the A Booby is right at the top of the Christidis & Boles index, the next English name alphabetically being ‘Adelie Penguin’, and the first on the ACT list being  ... [now there’s a question for you] – Australasian Bittern.

Its an Aardvark - and it has displaced an Abbot's Booby.

A couple of astute suggestions for the name of the latest Kambah cat.  It was intended to be a ‘Leopard Cat’ F bengalensis.  It must have leapt out of a container bringing back the effects of an Ausaid officer returning from Phnom penh.  The fumigation contractor should be more careful.  Amazingly, another newcomer has appeared.  Does anyone know this one, and the aggrieved seabird?
