There was a Little Wattlebird near the CSIRO gate and a Crescent Honeyeater in the lower Sydney Basin. Honeyeaters were down to Eastern Spinebill, Little Wattlebird, Red Wattlebird and White-naped Honeyeater. There was also a Grey Fantail. There were several Superb Fairy-wrens and a White-browed Scrubwren carrying colour bands, so the ANBG is keeping up its reputation as a good bird study site. Does anybody know the purpose of the current set of leggings?
Looked for but missed the Bassian Thrush.
Also noted was a mid-range marsupial browser tucking in.
