The paddocks at the south-west corner of the Queanbeyan sewage ponds are worth a walk through if you are on the lookout for Stubble Quail. Another reason to visit, apart from the water birds, is the pair of Black-shouldered Kites that seem to have taken up residence recently.

Regards,
Leo.
