There was a group of 7 or more Varied Sitellas
working through Mt Rogers on Friday morning at 10.30. They were in a
Mixed Feeding Flock which
included Double Barred Finches. (I've not seen the latter up there for
months)
White Plumed & White eared honeyeaters on the
entry road/track to Shepherd's Lookout this afternoon in a MFF which included
Speckled Warblers.
Two Wedgtailed Eagles high to the north. Two young
men flying model aeroplanes from the lookout platform...seemed to be rather a
strange occupation in such a confined landing area.
