We got a really good look at a Wedge-tailed Eagle today on
Uriarra Road near the entrance to Stromlo Forest Park. It came out of a tree
right next to the road as we were cycling by. And there was a White-bellied
Sea-Eagle earlier in the morning between Mt MacDonald and Uriarra Homestead.

At 1155 today I observed a pair of
Wedge-tailed Eagles circling between The Pinnacle and William Hovell Drive as I
headed in to the city. Both appeared to be adults.
Then, as I approached the Yacht Club for a
well-earned break, I spotted a Red-capped Robin in the undergrowth of Stirling
Park (what used to be the suburb of Westlake I think).
