thanks so much, alerted by you had a wonderfully fruitful time there this morning; the combination of the seed-cases on weeds etc near the dam in the old zoo area make it a perfect finchville.
It was also alive with many speckled warblers which reminded  me of their cousin warbler, the oven bird, that i saw in Philadelphia (among c. 50 species sighted during a c.4-week visit to US) recently; both have similar streaked underbellies.
