There is a similar discussion on the Birds in Backyard forum at present.
One of the members "Mike" there has posted links to 3 photos of what does appear to have Corella eyes and face, but Galah colouring on wings - but mottled grey and white.
 
His bird was seen at Fennel Bay, NSW , which is near Lake Macquarie (south of Newcastle).
