It's a somewhat curious one Bron. The bird is suffering from beak and
feather disease. It would be unusual (especially during non-breeding
season) for an adult to beg from another - and I'm cautious about
talking about altruism in animals - so I'd suggest this is a young bird
which has contracted the virus.
Others may well have more informed opinions.
