In July we have to be in Brisbane late in the month and in Adelaide somewhat earlier. The most interesting route between the two appears to be via Broken Hill - Bourke - Cunnunulla - St George. Are there any particularly good birding spots along this route and does anyone know - given no downpours - what the road from Willcania to Bourke is like (we'll be driving a Subaru Forester)?
