Some of the eucalypts along Limestone Avenue are currently either flowering
or are full of lerps or both. This is attracting good numbers of Red
Wattlebirds. There is movement early in the morning into the trees, birds
also move from Limestone Ave. into the Argyle Apples at Haig Park and into
surrounding gardens. By the time Marnix saw a flock of 15 a general exodus
occurs, as I witnessed today (although I am not excluding the option that
the flock Marnix saw was migrating). Around lunch time today, many Red
Wattlebirds were back in the eucalypts at Limestone Avenue.
