Margaret,

We live on the western side of Isaacs Ridge, quite close to the nature park.  When we first moved here in 1988 it was not unusual to see one, and occasionally, two wedgetails flying above the Ridge and there were at least two nests just on the other side of the eastern border of the nature park.  However, it is now rare to sight eagles, either wedgetail or little, in the area.  Unfortunately, it is now some years since I have been able to climb to the top of the ridge, so I cannot say whether there is still any nesting activity on the eastern side.

Indeed, my first sight of a wedgetail on the ridge was when, as I was walking along the eastern boundary, one rose from a tree top several metres away which was in my line of sight because of the slope of the land - a most impressive sight.
