Today 8 Gang-gangs flew over where I was working in Anzac Parade Campbell.  They have been regulars here during my fortnightly visits and on one occasion a male and female bird landed in the garden for a quick snack.

Also seen today a pair of very vocal Grey Butcherbirds in Fisher.  Another bird in the vicinity may have been a Pied Butcherbird - it was partially obscured in a dead tree and made a couple of short but sweet calls, but frustratingly the only distinguishing feature I could pick up before it was chased off by Currawongs was a black and white wing pattern very reminiscent of a PB.  I am quite sure it was not a Magpie-lark.

Cheers
