In more recent years Grey Butcherbirds have been mainly reported in the GBS from sites in the Cook/Aranda part of Belconnen although they have popped up in other suburbs occasionally.

I also read with interest the talk of Grey Butcherbirds moving around.  This morning around 0545 I thought I heard one.  As there was only the one call and then nothing I thought I may have been hearing things but, after reading the chat line I now wonder if it was the real thing.  Has any one else noted them in the Belconnen area?
