This morning in Callum Brae -

----3 flocks of Honeyeaters ~15, 30, 40 all travelling south along the tree line adjacent to the Jerra grasslands. I understand/guess that in the very local context their direction is dictated by avoiding unnecessary open spaces, so flying south would be a means of getting past the tree-free grasslands.

----3 juvenile Olive-backed Orioles silently in adjacent trees, one spent some time battering a caterpillar a bit like kingfishers. No adults around.

----2 Long-billed Corellas also silent in a tree, the same tree that has previously hosted two LBC's attempting to nest, or appearing to.
