Large (about 70-100) flocks of Starlings appeared in Ainslie on Saturday and present till Monday. (We haven't had many starlings in recent years: I think due to the disappearance of chooks and other animals  and associated sheds etc that went with the 'gentrification' of Ainslie). Coincidentally on Monday morning observed a Peregrine Falcon flying in direction of flock.

YFHEs: small flocks have been moving east along Tyson St over the last week, along with Silvereyes and one White naped HE. The first Spinebill since Spring appeared in my garden today
