Hi All,

My husband and I have just moved to Canberra from Brisbane, and I'd like to take this opportunity to say hi and that we are looking forward to meeting fellow COGgers out and about.

We are living in Duffy and our house list is steadily growing, however the most exciting record appeared yesterday morning at approximately 9am - a pair of Gang Gangs.  I sighted a female, and heard a second individual in another tree.  Is this an unusual sighting for our location, or can we expect to see and hear the birds moving through from the nearby ranges?

(As I'm writing this, we have just heard some more Gang Gangs calling a few streets over and Dan has jumped in the car to find them - he wasn't home yesterday when I saw them and I imagine he wants to "catch up" with my list!).

I also saw a pair of Common Bronzewings in a front garden on Tuesday, also in Duffy.

Cheers,
Beth.
