Well after reporting a small group of some 30 Grey-headed Flying Foxes in
Commonwealth Park a month ago, the roost has now exploded to well over 400
individuals!
They have spread out to adjacent trees too and could be heard a fair way
off today at lunchtime. Due to the extreme heat they were all fanning
themselves with their wings which made counting them a little easier.
