Advice on binoculars

Does anyone have a pair of 8x42 Zeiss Victory binoculars? Or have any
comments or knowledge of them? 

I am currently pondering on a new pair of binos and from what I gather the
BinTel shop in Sydney doesn't sell Zeiss and the Birding shop in Melbourne
would have to order them in.

Any advice would be welcome.
