There are ~30 Grey-headed Flying Foxes roosting in Commonwealth park at the
moment. The roost site is in the same place as a few years ago - April 2004
I believe. The location is 100 metres upslope from Stage 88 and about 100
metres downslope from the Regatta Point toilet block in the tall exotics.
They are quiet and still, apart from the odd altercation, but did stretch
their membranous wings when the sun revealed itself briefly.
