The reason I say this is that I recently had the pleasure of
meeting the person responsible for the next generation of bird
field guides / books for Southern Africa and they have a little
challenge. They are about to start providing drawings of sub-
species and suddenly they find they are lacking a complete set of
good images from which they can work for many f the species ......
all sorts of people are now running around the countryside taking
new / better images of the subspecies. It was certainly an angle to
my photography that I had not given serious thought to before...
