The chastening words of Mr Taylor have led to an increase in the number of recent signatures in the book! Unfortunately this has not been matched by an increase in the number of birds at the poo pits. Apparently I just missed a glimpse of the spotted harrier but did see a nicely posed juv Whistling kite. No pink-eared ducks nor (in a very quick tour) any hardhead.
Riding back towards Civic on the Right Bank a whole lotta darter nests were visible manily on the Left Bank with one on my side of the stream completely exposed in a fallen dead tree almost opposite Duntroon gates. Two black-winged stilts were wading in front of The Boathouse.
