I was riding around Lake Ginninderra about 2 pm and sighted about 100 LBCs on the water in a loose flock  feeding quite successfully as they all proceeded south towards the Town Centre.  The menu appeared to be silvery little fish about 10 cm long.  There were also a couple of Great Cormorants some distance away, as were two female darters.  I haven’t observed such large numbers apparently being so successful in their feeding.  Recent rain, nutrients etc??

Cheers
