An early morning visit to the sewage ponds found 2 Freckled Ducks on Pond 4 as well as most of the usual suspects. Very few Hardhead or HH Grebes. A male Swamp Harrier was a highlight, presumably the same bird was around Kellys Swamp a bit later in the morning and landed within 10 metres of me at one point.
Also at Kellys a Brown Songlark male singing and displaying in the paddocks adjacent to the carpark, along with 4+ Skylarks. Only egret present was a Great.
