in case anyone is craving fuscous h'eaters, they are present in their hordes in the mtns sth and easily seen if one goes to Creel Bay, Waste Point, on Lake Jindabyne.  From camp area there follow the track behind it that has been blocked off by large boulders (to prevent car access) ; skirt them and walk on; the eucs are blossoming madly; also to be seen from along this path, on left as you face away from the lake,  is a pair of Brown goshawks, their nest and a juvenile fledgling (?) still making begging cries.  They seem to have been hunting wagtails from the carcases i saw on the ground + the crazy driving off activities of the many wagtails in area
cheers
