Thinking back on it, you’re probably correct in suggesting the
Bronzewing. I’d forgotten about their call. What I heard was probably a bit too
slow between each “ooom” for a frogmouth.

Hi Nick. While daytime calling by Tawny Frogmouths
(Frogmithe??) isn't unknown, it's certainly uncommon. I wonder if you heard a
Common Bronzewing, which has a not dissimilar call? Just a thought, and if you're
confident of your i.d., then stick with it!
