Dear folks
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
For a number of reasons I am attempting to complete the geographic coordinates (ie latitudes and longitudes) for GBS sites.
While many recent contributors to the GBS have provided these parameters such an approach to geocoding was not envisaged when the GBS first fired up. Thus I find that I have some 330 addresses to look up. I am using Google Earth to do this and finding it really good for the purpose.
However, it would reduce my workload if anyone who has not provided their "lats and longs" on the year 26 GBS Chart could ascertain their coordinates and provide them to me. This would apply to folk who no longer complete a Chart at a site as well as ongoing contributors. If you use Google Earth try just putting in your street number, street name and street type (ie Street, Place, Crescent etc - type it in full not St/Pl/Cres etc).
Many thanks
Martin
