The cicadabird nest reported by Stu Harris seems to have been abandoned.  When I checked it out a couple of days later the male was still busily working on it, but I saw no sign of the female at any stage, and no sign of activity at all today.  I am not surprised it did not proceed because the male was under constant attack from White-naped Honeyeaters, so much so it seemed unlikely any nesting effort could be sustained at that particular spot.   A few frames from video footage.  As Stu mentioned the nest was in a fork more than 20m above the level of the track.
