I was rather surprised to hear that the Gabba is not blessed with gulls and attempted to confirm this by Googling the words gabba and seagull. I found out more than I need to know about a style of music (called gabba) and a band (called Flock of Seagulls that possibly play it). I also found that the Rugby League teams from Tweed Heads and Mannum-Wynly are both nicknamed The Seagulls but - and this may be important - NEITHER PLAY AT THE GABBA.
