Hi

We have cockatoos which visit (unfortunately) every day. I have noticed before the dirty pinky brown colour of the feathers on a couple of them (as in this photo taken just now) and thought that it must be dust which discoloured them. However, we have now had so much rain that there is no dust around here, and these birds must have been thoroughly washed yesterday.

I would appreciate any comments on the colour and cause of it.

Thank you

Charmian Lawson
