Hi,

I’m driving to Harvey Bay for the Lady Elliot island weekend late Nov-early Dec.

I’ll be driving the (an) inland route going up – Cowra, Dubbo, Coonabarabran, Goondiwindi  (mainly the Mitchell and Newell highways), then Warwick and Nambour (avoiding Brisbane) – and the Pacific Highway on the way back.

If you’ve got any favourite birding spots (within half an hours drive of the main roads) could you email me direct with your suggestions? I’ll probably do 2 half day stops for birdwatching each way).

Thanks

Roy
