Hi,
Just back from a 5 day surf camp down near Bawley Point (Racecourse beach) with the school.
I didn't do much birding, but in the vicinity of the cabins and beach there were Sea-Eagles, a Whistling Kite, a Fan-tailed Cuckoo, Common Koel, Sooty Oystercatcher. There were also 10+ Ruddy Turnstone (rather more than I have seen together at one time), including one near breeding plumage and several duller birds.
