A pair of LEWIN'S RAILS seen briefly together at Kelly's today 2pm. They
were crossing a reed-fringed channel at the southern end.
Also seen:
1 Spotted Crake
3 Glossy Ibis
2 Freckled Ducks
6 Black-winged Stilts
1 Bar-tailed Godwit (flew of towards the paddocks at 2pm)
1 Sharp-tailed Sandpiper
2 Little Grassbirds (probable nest)
And yesterday lunchtime I had 2 vocal EUROPEAN GREENFINCHES at the Kingston
entrance to the wetlands.
Cheers
