Yesterday just south of Yankee Hat / Gudgenby we saw the attached pair of unusual looking wild dogs. And to make this more bird-relevant, we later saw a Swamp Harrier, hunting above the incredibly beautiful headwaters of the Naas Creek/River. On Saturday in the same area our highlights were a couple of Brush Cuckoos (one seen at close quarters) and a pair of Red-browed Treecreepers also nice and close. But no Red-backed Kingfishers :(
