Those watching the ABC News last evening may have noticed a story about the plans by the Federal Golf Course to sell off land on which a motel can be built.  I believe this to be a re-issue of a plan, previously rejected as a result of community pressure, to develop some of the bushland adjoining the current blazer-rich fairways.  On this occasion the Stanhope Government will support the proposal (when have they ever rejected a "development" proposal?) and the Liberals supported it last time.  So say good-bye to a bit more habitat.

I guess the plan for a toboggan track down Black Mountain will be revised any time from now.
