I have noticed that the 2 Glossy Ibis fly off towards LBG to roost most
evenings before 6pm, most likely the same spot where up to 100 White Ibis
head most evenings. I have seen the Stilts fly off towards the Fyshwick
ponds before.
And the Royal Spoonbill (if it is the same one) I find tends to frequent a
great many spots throughout the greater wetlands area and along the creek.
The Cattle Egrets are hard to find if they are in long grass among the
cattle beyond the far bank from Cygnus.

And yet despite the many trips I have yet to spot a Nankeen Night Heron at
dusk at Kellys...

This evening around 6pm, the Black-shouldered Kite was present,
but no sign of the egrets, spoonbill, stilts or Glossy Ibis.
I assume that they're the same birds that have been present for
the last week or two; either I'm somehow overlooking them most of
the time, or they're moving between Kelly's Swamp and somewhere
else - possibly where ever the Painted Snipe is lurking...

In the fading light, a Nankeen Night Heron flew from the left of
Cygnus hide to the (overgrown) shingle bank near Ardea hide.
