Bar-tailed Godwit at Kelly Swamp - 25/10 6am [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]

I was at Kelly's by 8.20am, thanks to a text from Anthony Overs.
Unfortunately no sign of the Godwit.
There are also plenty of Snipe around this morning with at least 9 birds in
long grass on the far bank.

There was a large wader at Kelly Swamp this morning (at 6:15am before
drizzle set in)
My (distant flight) photos show a pink base to bill and barred rump.

Pretty sure it was a Bar-tailed Godwit
(need to check a field guide when I go home tonight)

I was in the Cygnus hide, and it flew from right to left on the far bank.
