Anyone going on the roads between Mt Stromlo - Cotter - Tidbinbilla - Tharwa - Fitz's Hill on the Blitz on Sunday should be aware that the Fitz's Challenge cycle event is being staged on those roads, starting at 6am.  This means that there are likely to be quite a lot of cyclists particularly from Stromlo to Tharwa (and those heading back are likely to be a bit knackered and thus not necessarliy too alert).  BE CAREFUL!

Today I finally caught up with the Black-tailed Native Hen opposite Tadorna Hide.  Also present on one of the islands in front of the hide was a Royal Spoonbill with a most flashy set of nuptial plumes.  Despite a search of ANBG I couldn't relocate the Drongo (other than by use of a mirror).
