Hi All,
As it was Dusking lst Night,(23rd Oct 07),walking along the Power Lines behind Mackenzie St Hackett ,I was looking North towards Mt Majura When I noticed What I thought was A Currawong heading South,As it closed on me the great deep wing Beats and long thrusting Neck made me aware I was looking at a Channel Billed Cuckoo...I used to see lots of these down the Coast so am absolutely familiar with the Bird ....Hope someone else can back this siting up....Terry Gourlay.
