The birdfair, as most will know, is in Leeton, and is on next month. If
you've missed seeing the glossy ibis at Kellys Swamp, Fivebough Swamp at
Leeton has them flying in at night to roost - last report was of around
200, but it should be up in the 1000s by mid Nov. There are also around
40 brolgas at this stage. Other recent sightings - a pair of red-capped
robins, Australasian bitterns, sandpipers (marsh, sharp-tailed and
wood), Baillons crakes, freckled ducks and black-tailed native hens.
