A walk around my GBS site this afternoon revealed a pair of Black Swans with 4 cygnets; a pair of Pacific Black Ducks with 5 ducklings; 3 separate Dusky Moorhens with 4, 4 and 3 chicks; a Masked Lapwing sitting on 4 eggs; and a Eurasian Coot sitting on a nest.  There are still significant numbers of Hardheads (30) and Coots (55) and there was also a flock of 46 Wood Ducks that had dropped in to feed on the local oval.
