Hi!

For approximately 3 wks now I've had 2 Channel-billed cuckoos in and around my area which are either together or within close calling distance. My question is, would these be a pair that stay together for breeding purposes, the reason being they aren't that common, or are they?, as the commoner smaller Bronzes & Fan- Brushes which are in sufficient numbers all over to meet up when required. I hear them calling each other at different times anywhere in the Ulladulla area but only from 2 areas, not a peep from anywhere else. Can this be a classic case of making Coo-ee to make some  Whoopee.

Cheers

Ps I use to hear that coo-ee a lot down the farm, but when you think about it,at timesthere wasn't much else to do.
