In Sydney for the last few days - Sydney CBD had a huge and spectacular influx of Bogongs on Weds, with the arrival of that hot northerly. Yesturday many window stills and other shady cracks of Sydney CBD buildings are carpeted with the moths. Many will find thier way into the air conditionaing systems in search of a shady place, with a resultant rise in repiratory complaints in the next few weeks - moth scales are very allergenic, not the mention a food for other pests such as rodents and other insects such as Dermestid beetles.
