This morning in Black Mountain NR - a flock of 19 Yellow-faced Honeyaters with 22 White-naped Honeyeaters - moving through the canopy, feeding as they went. Direction of movement: North by North-west. The pair of New Holland Honeyeaters, resident around the CSIRO workshop which is at the Northern edge of the Black Mountain CSIRO complex, having weathered the Red Wattlebird storm in the past fortnight, were busy repelling Yellow-faced Honeyaters this morning.
