Despite the blustery conditions and a bit of rain, the sewage ponds and Jerrabomberra wetlands were pretty lively this morning. I had 53 species in about 2.5 hours. Birds of note (for me, anyway) were several Blue-billed ducks, many Hoary-headed grebes, Clamorous Reed-warblers and one singing Little grassbird, two White-winged trillers, a small flock of Yellow-faced honeyeaters and a Little eagle.

Oh, yes. Some snake that I didn't stop to ID!
