A walk in this area today was quite rewarding.

On Oakey Hill itself lots of Weebills, incl. one taking food (a moth I think) to a nest in a small Eucalypt, at least 6 Double barred Finches, Grey Fantails (one seen, lots calling), Superb Wrens,  Yellow rumped Thornbills, Silvereyes, Yellow-faced Honeyeaters, Striated Pardalotes calling.

In the area between St Judes School and the old Holder High were a pair of Red Rumps, 3 European Goldfinches, a pair of Black faced Cuckoo-Shrikes, more Striated Pardalotes and Yellow-faced Honeyeaters, Willie Wagtail, and a Magpie carrying nesting material.

On Blackwood Terrace just past the shops was a Crested Pigeon sitting on a nest in a Photinia shrub.

Cheers
