O'Connor: Barn Owl

Some time before 09:00 this morning as we were about to leave the house, the local Magpie/Currawongs vigilante patrol sounded the alarm. Dashing outside, I saw a Barn Owl overhead desperately trying to evade its tormentors. Following the trend it headed off to the southeast, paralleling Boldrewood Street. I think it may have been heading back towards Ian's place in Turner after a 9 month sojourn to O'Connor. Seriously though, it does seem likely to be more than a coincidence that there have been 2 recent records from this area.

What are the views of the GBS aficionados?
