Weddin Mtns and migrants [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]

A trip to Weddin Mtns revealed lots
of activity compared with previous 6 months. 5 sp of cuckoos for weekend
(Pallid near Young), WW Trillers on the move, lots of noisy Rufous Songlarks
between Grenfell and Boorowa heading our way. Glossy Bl Cockatoos have
been seen for the first time at Weddins this year. Two were seen in March
and May and now there are three....
Speckled Warblers are breeding with
eggs and 2 Black-eared cuckoos were hoping to join in. A single vocal Painted
Honeyeater was accompanying the WWTrillers through the Ironbarks.
