On February 26th, we saw a ringed plover at Billy's Beach, near to Mystery Bay. Unfortunately we did not get a photo of the bird. We have forwarded our sighting to the Rarities panel at the coast but have not yet have had a determination about our sighting, from them. Ringed plovers are very, very rare. But we would like the sighting to be published somewhere as a possible sighting, at least
