It is getting a bit routine now.....  Being Friday suggests a weekend coming up. I know there are some who would like to see the bird who have not been here yet. Maybe people would like to car pool to come here. It is still here after 51 days, seen every day.

This morning I went out the back door to check on the White-fronted Honeyeater. As I closed the back door, it flew over the house and perched in the apple tree, I didn't need to step of the back step. Later it was in the Grevillea again and later again it was in the big Eucalypt in my back yard, having a bit of a dispute with a White-plumed Honeyeater. Last few days it has changed its call from the "shirp-sweep" sound to just giving the first syllable, rather than both, plus the more common simple toc call. It is now mostly arriving from the south and north, not so much along Hiles Place.
