We have had Peaceful Doves around there and
several other spots in our area before. I once saw one on the lawns of old
parliament house (before new PH). They are a common aviary bird but also wild
birds here is quite believable. See an article about this in CBN (Graeme
Clark & Kay Hahne 1990, CBN 15:29-34).
